Looks like Wood?

A common misconception clients have had is calling this type of tile wood flooring. In fact its a porcelain type tile that comes often in the shape of planks, but does have other shapes available. If you ever come across this type of flooring it may not have grout lines showing making it harder to identify. This type of tile costs a bit more, but it pays in its durability making it a style and quality investment.

Maintenance Tips
Cleaning Supplies

Along the recommendations of annual to as needed deep cleaning, here are a few tips to help maintain the tile.

1. Sweep/Vacuum floor at least twice a week ensuring you get corners as well. Doing so prevents dirt build up which can dull out the finish and who really likes stepping in dirt.

2. Using a microfiber mop to grab more dirt once a week or so, doing so after using a soft bristle broom to sweep will be most efficient. When using the microfiber mop you want to ensure its rung out properly so you don't just spread around dirty water, rinse with clean water often. (Note: If using a cleaner, ensure the tile isn't marble or natural stone as they can be stained/damaged by your everyday cleaner.)

3. As obvious as it may seem, clean spills right away. Wiping up spills isn't enough, the surface area needs to be rinsed thoroughly with warm water, the longer it is allowed to sit or is not properly removed the harder it will be to remove.
